ABOUT ELECTROLEAGUE: ElectroLeague is a real-time animation studio based in Los Angeles.
ElectroLeague has developed a robust slate of edgy, aged-up animated content for films, series, games, emerging technologies, live experiential installations & published books. All our properties have been developed with a video game component in mind. The idea is that we build our assets the right way once, utilizing them “in-engine” to create a universe that spans over multiple verticals.
Great storytelling is the pillar of anything we create. The ElectroLeague core philosophy is to shoot the script on the performance capture stage, abandoning the old-fashioned and wasteful storyboarding process. This approach allows us to greatly reduce the time is takes to get an early iteration of our story reels up in editorial.
ITERATE EARLY. ITERATE OFTEN.
Once we have approved a sequence in this early blocking phase, a small team of animators goes in over the top of the capture data and augments the performance, pushing the animation and matching the style of a particular project.
At the center of our production process is (very purposely) a small core team that is on stage with the director, making communication instantaneous, allowing our filmmaking team to leave the stage confident we have achieved what was intended.
Faster, cheaper allows us to spend time on what is important - crafting the storytelling.
